BRAINWASHING IN PROGRESS

Long ago, you have been brainwashed by your parents, your teachers, your relatives. Not just brainwashed, their job is also to reinforce this into your mind and make sure you faithfully abide to it.

Their mission is to create a system to make you believe that you are just an average (and will always be that way!) and working for others is the only reliable & safest thing to do.

The mission eventually worked thus created many people that are truly compliant and fearful, just like me and you! We multiplied from generations to generations. We go to school only to graduate and work for others.

It is not a ‘wise’ idea to venture into the unknown to make a living. We were made to believe that it is important to fit in the working society and be part of the herd. It is a cycle of life that we MUST accept and be contented with.

They say, “….for generations it has been this way, so why change it?”

However, not all of us easily succumbed into this mindset. A handful of us have managed to evade being brainwashed and literally stepped out of the comfort zone to create something on our own. We dodged cruel criticisms, obstacles and stayed focused to achieve our dreams.

I’d be lying to you if there is no blood, sweat and tears involved throughout the process. But the result is astounding!

Most of these people lives in life that only exist in our imagination. Paid vacations, no debts and live their lives in their own terms.

There are various reasons on why people WANT to leave their job. Here are some of them:

1.    Career went plateaued.
2.    Not moving or no progress in their existing career.
3.    No opportunity to grow or explore new areas.
4.    Bad pay, bad benefits.
5.    Office politics, bad bosses.

But most of us have been in our comfort zone for way too long to think or attempt anything else.

Even though we feel trapped and confused, we still continue to do what we do every single day because it is the ONLY thing we know that ‘guarantees’ us to survive.

Fear of the unknown, of failing and losing everything further prevented us to step out of the comfort zone. Little did we realized, that we are actually responsible (and to be blamed for) for stopping ourselves from achieving our fullest potential.
